Last Wednesday, Lindsey and AJ welcomed Miller Anthony Vonderembse into this world – all 6 lbs., 7 oz. of him! Perry and Logan have a little brother, my parents have another grandchild, and I have a nephew.
On September 5, my father had heart valve replacement and bypass surgery. Unfortunately, there were some serious complications and he has been in the ICU in critical condition since.
We may be more vulnerable than we ever thought, but we are also stronger than we ever imagined.
