Although it’s been several weeks since I last posted anything, there have been a couple exciting things happening in the background that have kept me busy. However, as of late I’ve been battling a UTI, which I wouldn’t exactly define as the most exciting activity to occupy one’s time.

During February, my beautiful niece, Perry, was baptized into the Catholic faith. I was honored that AJ and Lindsey asked me to be her godfather, and feel very blessed to help Perry grow in her faith with God. I feel that my relationship with Him has certainly been tested at times and plan to one day share with her the lessons I’ve learned in the hopes they might benefit her. In the meantime, going forward, feel free to simply refer to me as The Godfather.

Another addition that joined our little mob in February was a Cane Corso puppy named Orsa. Her name means teddy bear in Italian, although these days her demeanor is like that of a lion cub. She puts EVERYTHING in her mouth and displays every bad habit Zero never exhibited as a puppy. Nonetheless, she’s adorable and loving, and the two of them are inseparable.

Early March brought with it another birthday. Nothing too eventful to report other than a few more gray hairs in my beard. Although, I did commit over the next year that I will finish up a book I’ve been working on. Perhaps I’ll be able to share it with everyone by the time I complete another trip around the sun.

Also, I hope to have another fundraiser in the upcoming year. It has been 3 ½ years since the last one, which was very successful in allowing me to continue with my exercise therapy workouts on a regular basis. Unfortunately, the roots of the money tree I planted in the backyard never took hold, and without the generous support of others, I’m afraid my workouts will come to an end.

If you’d be interested in donating any items for a silent auction or helping out in any way, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

Finally, I’ve been asked to participate in a Facebook Live talk and Q&A in conjunction with The Mighty. I will provide more details in the future as they are available in case anyone is interested in checking it out.

As always, thank you for the prayers and support!

Stand Strong!

Scott
