Today is Groundhog Day. That means it’s February. It also means we’re a month into the new year.

Did you make resolutions? How are they working out for you?

If you set out to change something, do something, be something in 2018, hopefully you are well on your way, working towards it every day. If you’re not, what are you waiting for?

Even if you don’t believe in resolutions or simply choose not to make them, you’re still subjected to the same effect that time has on all of us. No one is immune from the passage of time.

Time waits for no one. Yet many of us wait for time. Often waiting for the “right” time.

The right time to start/finish that certain something. The right time to reach out to that certain someone. The right time to get to that certain someplace.

If you keep waiting for the right time, you’ll probably be waiting for a long time.

Sometimes getting started on something is actually harder than the something itself.

I’m challenging all of you to find the time to get it done. Make today your temporal landmark.

I’m also including myself in this challenge.

I want to write a book. I started. Stopped. Started again. Stopped again. Lately, I just haven’t given it the attention it needs. I’m challenging myself to make the time to write. To start. To finish.

I hope you will choose to join me with your own challenge!

And in case you’re wondering, the groundhog saw his shadow.

Stand Strong!

Scott

As always, THANKS for your encouragement.

I can’t wait to read your book – I have been waiting for you to write one.

    Happy February, and Happy Lent!

Scott, I just wrote three letters that I had been putting off. It feels so good to have accomplished something and is now off my mind. Stay warm!

It is so easy to put off till tomorrow! When I do this, I try to make sure I am spending the current time with family and friends…. then I know I have not wasted time but put it to good use. Happy New Year Scott!

One of my favorite Stones songs, Scott! Now I’ve got it running through my head…:-)

I have been in a writing slump for the past several months so I totally get it about your book. Yet I’m optimistic that as with everything else in life, “this, too, shall pass.”

In any event, I am sending you some lovely, bone warming, sunny, 80 degrees vibes from Phoenix!
